  • I pin all my hopes on Diakite

Based on yesterdays shower im pinning all my hopes on this Samba Diakite being some midfield colossus who can drag this team out the brown.
I base this on nothing else but blind faith and stupidity.

We literally have nobody else to call upon. Our midfield is pish weak not one player can get stuck in or retain possession.

From what I have seen in the ACN he will at least bring some pace, power and ability to run with the ball, something we are certainly lacking in that area at the minute.

      I'm not.
I hope the kid arrives firing on all cylinders, I really do. But, what if he needs as much time to settle, as Taiwo seems to need?
Time is fast becoming a precious commodity to QPR, it's running out, and fast.

Agree i think we lack in midfield so bad with Barton not exactly setting the world alight and Buzz either injured or inconsistent . I think he will add some pace going forward and helping out from the back .

How long before the boo boys start on him if he doesn't instantly become like Faurlin?

If Faurlin was still playing with the new look team, we might be doing better.

I wouldn't expect goals, he is very much a defensive midfielder, but he does appear to have power and the ability to carry the ball forward when space opens up.

I'd want a lot more "creativity" from my "star" midfielder, mate.

And then again, we might not.

I cant help but think this lads onto a loser already, having such expectation placed on him. Hes a young player and is going to be adapting to a whole new league so I cant see him pulling up any trees straight away and I just hope the fans dont get on his back if he doesnt play absolutley superb straight away.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
