You are correct IMO, but the problem is the people who talk the loudest on here were saying that Holt, Graham and Morrison would not cut it in the PL either and we done so well to get Bothroyd and DJ, but hey ho.................

I agree he should never start ahead of Cisse and Zamora, but based on the last game, which is all you can go on, should he start up front with Zamora v Fulham ahead of Taarabt ?, as people are now wising up that he is not a winger, but a striker.

Depends who else is available. Possibly HH or DJ (unlikely) will be back by then.

Is a fair question. The answer will be whether Hughes goes for Ability and creativity ( Taarabt ) v's attitude and effort ( Mackie ). Both have bundles of one and very little of the other.

He made a big difference saturday coming on as sub. His fresh legs and attitude were the catalyst and he had a superb 20 minutes. BUT one 20 minute good spell does not suddenly make you a Premiership player. I have been to the 16 or so games he started this season and he was non existant and very poor in most if not all. If you have honestly been to all those games and think he played well and had a great game then one of us is going to Specsavers.

All true enough if you take into account he wasn't being played in his best position, until Saturday that is.

I'd play them both. It was Adel who brilliantly set up Jamie for his 2nd goal.
