The man has had 2 very poor games to start his qpr career ,I've not read anybody knock him just state the obvious yet to some poster's they are being negative it's a valid opion mine is he's not match fit but I am fairly confident he can come through ,he does need to show what he can do before he talk's about a perminant contract

As for Wolves i thought he played much better and had a decent game, had grown in confidence a bit more and showed he's taking strides in the right direction for sure.

Villa was a massive culture shock for him imo with the pace of our league, add to that not knowing the defence, lack of match fitness / sharpness, and the fact Villa played very, very well to be fair to them and it was not an easy game for anyone. Was he that much worse than others, i have my doubts.

okay, I agree his positional sense has been pretty ropey so far.. but sure that will come. But was it just me who thought his 40 yard bullet passes ( i think on 3 or 4 occasions) straight to the feet of our strikers were quite amazing .
Adds a totally new dimension to our play and was so pleasing after years of our defence aimlessly hoofing the ball upfield.
I think he could be something a bit special when he settles in.

I dont think he should have been in the side for the 2 games he's played ,Hughe's should have consentrated on getting him match fit and as some have pointed out out getting him familiar with his fellow defender's in training, give a honest opion has he played any better than Hill wouldv'e in those 2 games?

A deal is already in place to sign him, so this is already a bit of a non story according to David Mcintyre who is pretty well informed with the comings and goings.
Can't believe people getting on his back after 2 games ffs.
Oh wait actually I can, because we get on every f******g players back for next to nothing.

thought he was ripped apart by villa and looked vulnerable at times against Wolves (tho' in fairness prob less so than Young who after a great start for us has been poor in recent weeks). he obviously has the potential to be a v gd player but must admit particularly against villa when we were under seige I wd have felt more comfortable with clint. as others have said will reserve judgement till he has played a lot of games. wd hope, tho, that we have only an option to buy rather than an obligation. he might turn out to be a hoops legend, but equally he might be a parejo type player who has skill but doesn't click in our league. Problem is we don't have the luxury of being able to "give him time" - he needs to step up straight away if we are going to stay in this league.
