He needs to.
I think Bartn is trying to build a brand at the moment and he foccuusses more on Twitter than football. He has had a few decent games for us - no where near good enough for someone who claims to be one of the best 4 midfield players in the country.
More than that though, he is embarrassing the club as well as himself.

In business there are confidentially clauses in contracts, could, should or would football clubs have such clauses to stop the Barton's of this world discussing their employers business in such a manner in public?
Some, of course will say it enfringes his freedom of speech or human rights etc.
Personally, I think he should shut the **** up.I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

He's obsessed with having a large following that gives him the idea his opinion on any subject is relevant or needed. If people didn't follow him there would be no problem. Pretty ironic many of them say he should pack it in.

If he wasn't a QPR player I would not follow him. No one is saying he should pack in Twitter - people just think he needs to think a bit more, stop saying things in a desperate (and failed) attempt to sound clever when he is not and stop bringing the club into disrepute.
The fact that he has a Twitter account and tweets is not the issue. The fact that he deliberately courts controversy to increase his non QPR following and create a brand for himself at the expense of our club's name is the issue for me.
The vast majority of his followers are not QPR fans.

He's so boring, it's just ridiculous now.
I wish he would shut the f*** up and concentrate on his football.
I don't care what anyone says, he hasn't been good this season, he's had 4/5 good games for us yet walks around like billy big b*****s.
