    Well, you make my prediction seem pretty darned pessimistic!

    I reckon we will get 18 points from that lot: 5 wins, 3 draws and 6 defeats resulting in another year in the PL for us

      As mentioned most teams get the odd shock result, and i'm sure once our players settle we will be more than a match for nearly all teams, especially when Cisse and Zamora click, Adel going from strength to strength and a general better quality.

      There could be plenty of wins among them, Blackburn, Fulham, Everton, Bolton, Sunderland, Swansea, West Brom and Stoke are all winnable games. They are nothing special by any stretch of the imagination. Most are not far from us in the table, Sunderland's good streak will not last for ever, and they have had some ludicrous luck in this run also, Stoke are sliding a bit etc etc etc....

      We could equally not win many of those games as we can't predict incidents like on Saturday... After 30 mins nobody would've said Wolves would win, then Cisse loses it, same against norwich.

      I still think we'll be ok, but am personally so deflated after the weekend. Completely gutted we've cost ourselves 3 points and in turn gifted a rival 3 points, and the fact Cisse now misses 3 key and winnable games is just annoying, and for what!

      Hopefully Zamora is fit as i think the pairing of him and Adel just off could be pretty useful, also allowing Traore to come back in on the left, SWP on the right there could be goals in there.

      Our new signings haven't been together long. The team will gel and improve. There's still plenty of winnable games, and are Blackburn, Bolton, Wolves and Wigan really that much better off?

        That's exactly how I read it too. We'll survive, only just! But we will do it

            It's the QPR way mate, nothing can be accomplished without drama.

              Looking at those fixtures, there's only three 'write off' games. Away to Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea. That leaves 11 games for us to get 15 points, I reckon. 4 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. Given the squad will gel better week after week, I don't see why we can't do it.

                  What the run in shows me is that this Saturday's game is f*****g massive, if it wasn't already.

                    we've been saying that since the build up to Norwich...and we've done nothing since. all the games are massive.
                    i am no longer optimistic but now wishful.

                      Can't see us losing many more games at home as long as we have 11 men in the pitch and cisse and Zamora playing up front who will defo score goals for us it's the defence which is the concern which Hugh's should be working on now

                        There will be shocks along the way. Liverpool lost 3-1 to Bolton not long ago. We have several new players, also some coming back from the ACN. With things going our way we could get a draw/win against any of those teams.

                            Could definitely do with an auto generated ladder predictor on the epl website, like they have back home for the aussie rules. Becomes very handy towards the end of the year, particularly if goal difference starts coming into it!!

                            All the talk about how many points usual keeps you up and how QPR will go in our remaining games is useless without looking at the other teams around us. I've had a look at the remaining fixtures for the bottom 7 teams & it shows quite an interesting story.

                            Ok, before I get bombarded with negativity let me state up front that;
                            YES I get this is based on me being correct on EVERY game which is virtually impossible.
                            YES I would have had slightly QPR shaded glasses on when looking at results
                            YES these are very low totals but I tried to do it worst case scenario for every team, including QPR. i.e draws picked over wins in line ball decisions for other teams & losses picked over draws for QPR games.
                            and YES there is bound to be shocks that are both good & bad for QPR. But here goes anyway;
                            Fulham - 39
                            WBA - 37
                            QPR - 36
                            Bolton - 31
                            Wolves - 28
                            Blackburn - 22
                            Wigan - 22

                            Not saying this will be the final table by any stretch but going through this exercise definitely showed me that the teams around us also have a pretty tough run home. When they play each other, draws are obviously the best outcome for QPR.

                            Key fixtures for QPR's season are the next two, WBA, Swansea & Stoke. Must get 3 points in all bar one of these matches, with a draw in the other.

                              Do we play Arsenal, Stoke and Chelsea after they have midweek games in Europe?

                                I have to say, I think we kissed off three points too many last Saturday, absolutely disastrous.
                                In fact, when you consider we couldn't hold on to a 2 goal lead against Villa last Wednesday night, we threw 5 massive points away last week.
