  • On the bright side.....

All four teams below us have yet to play each other for a second time. They will take points off each other

On the downside two of them still have to play us of which they could possibly win.

And we've yet to throw away a 3 goal lead this season.

I remember Tommy Docherty saying once when we had scored 6 goals in a match:

"We need to score about 6 goals because we are just as likely to let in 6 the other end."

I don't think we are quite at that point yet.

Or--- half of them MUST get some points from those games - as we need 3 of them to do badly, we would be better off with them playing higher teams, not each other.(I think!)

Bolton are playing and will beat Wigan this weekend! if we fail to win at Blackburn we are likely to find ourselves in the bottom 3 on Saturday evening with Wolves playing WBA Sunday, and if Wolves win? they would open up a 3 point gap on us worst case scenario.
BEST CASE SCENARIO we win at Blackburn. Bolton & wigan & wolves & WBA all draw which would bring WBA a bit closer too?
                    WBA 27 pts
                    QPR 24
                    Wolves 22
                    Bolton 21
                    Blackburn 18
                    Wigan 16

Sorry but Saturday was one of the watershed moments of the season.

IF we'd of beaten Wolves I reckon two out of the three relegation spots would be done as they'd be 6 points behind us and momentum would be with us.
We would also have brought West Brom and Foolham into touching distance.

                      We didn't.

If Sparky Hughes can pick the players and fans up from this and keep us in the Prem then he'd better hot foot it over to the Middle East as I reckon the problems of Syria, Iran v Israel and the disproportionate amount of ugly women in that region could easily be solved by him.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
