  • Luke Young

Anyone know how long he is out for? May be a blessing in disguise his injury as he is in a bad run of form. Still rate the guy though.

I thought MH said he only had cramp.

Luke Young has been at fault for so many goals this season. Yesterday he should have showed the man outside. He's a good player but if you watch him closely he makes a lot of errors positionally for a defender. If other players made the mistakes he has they would get battered on this message board!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

To be honest, I really couldn't care less how long Young is out for.
This last month his defending has been farking erratic to say the least.
Not much farking better than Orr, if you ask me.

Nope - problem is we do not have that much competition in that position.

Couldn't agree more his body position was awful and why he didn't show his man outside I do not know. To be honest he has done similar a couple of times this season.

Never suprises me how many experts on football performances we have on here. I trust you all have professional contracts at clubs?

Well, I was nearly manager of Sheffield Wednesday before Ron Atkinson got the job. I still have the rejection letter from my old JoBClub File where you were told to apply for anything. True.

It´s not easy for Young to have to adapt to a new partner in defence every other 8-10 games.

But last night he did actively ballwatching and on the whole he lets a player cut inside far too often for my liking.

You have your say on almost every thread on here Matty, this is a messageboard where people like to air their opinions, like your good self. You may not agree with everyone, i dont agree with everyone but dont have a go at people for venting their annoyance at something they see at a game.

For the record as much as i like Young i agree with Hammersmith he has been at fault for a few goals this season. I hope he has been playing with an injury becauser his lack of pace for a fullback was quite alarming yesterday.

Jarvis is left footed I believe so maybe Young thought he was doing right in closing off the left channel?....who would have thought that Mr legs at 100mph would score from there?

And I havent said anything about people voicing an opinion or posting on threads: its the way some people seem to analyse a professional footballers body stance etc and say how they know alot better, its like me trying to advise Bill Gates on his business strategies.

If Jarvis is predomately left footed he can also use his right as he showed yesterdsay with the amount of time he cut back to deliver a cross. Something SWP fails to do time and time again

I've read lots of comments on here about Wolves goals. Not much about ours.
