Admitted they were very lucky today with the sending off, even said he didn't think it was a sending off and if it wasn't for that they would have probably lost,I know we all agree with this BUT refreshing for a manager to be so honest. Now he is off to buy Cisse a big bunch of flowers as a thank you!

Says it all. The stupid thing about the red, and yes by the letter of the law he had to go, is that there are countless times a player will react badly to a tackle and push someone in the chest, which technically should also be red for raising hands and violent conduct, but it more often than not never is.

Why should todays situation be different.

Knew MM would come out and say that....he'd be a hypocrite if he didn't unlike ***** like Wenger, Fergie and AVB who have no class.

If he had left it as a shove he woulda got yello...but he grabbed his chin which made it worse.

McCarthy is a muppet, McCarthy is a muppet la la la la. like the one Ray Clemence was likened to in the eighties

I thought he said it wasn't a sending off in his day and the tackle wasn't a yellow either

most honest and open manager in the game and wouldve said what he truthfully saw..after they lost against chelsea, the interviewer said you must be really pleased with your teams effort and commitment? mm replied its a requirement of a footballer to turn up and put effort in so no pats on the back for trying in a game, its expected of them!!!!!

I'm sat here thinking that perhaps his open nature does him more damage than good. His team are in a relegation battle

Personally I can't stand the Leeds supporting bloke but he is honest
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles
