Did anyone watch him before we signed him?

Its easy to see why AC Milan let him come on loan.

Bring back Clint Hill at least he can defend and doesn't stumble around not knowing what to do.

Struggling to adjust both going forward and defensively, still have hope that he can settle. He should be able to defend well at the least.

think he will be alright once he settles...just hope its quick though as we dont have long to retain our prem status. Looks to me like he has been a little overhyped though

Yes it's fine saying 'he will adjust' and he will 'be good in time' but for a left who has no positional sense is beyond me. The Taiwo I was expecting was big, strong, good on the ball, great going forward and will tighten up the defence - Starting to get concerned.

I thought he was better today, than at Villa Park

Thought he did OKish defensively today and he is someone with strength and speed, with Hughes adjusting to the pace of the PL game will come swiftly.

But to say the bloke did nothing going forward is way off the mark, he does have a decent touch and apart from carrying the ball forward well, he played four or five, absolutely sublime, 40 odd yard balls perfectly between the full back and centre back for our players to run on to.

When we had 11 men he played some lovely balls into Zamora, Taarabt and Cisse. Defensively in the air is his weakness he waits for the ball to bounce and his positioning needs to improve

Taiwo was better today, but did he win any header? No! and in this league you cannot succeed if you are bad in air. I'm not sure if he's better than Traore as a left back. Time runs out to find it out, I fear.
