There is no chance for change in football? How did the back pass rule come in?

He got done from behind and it was a potential leg breaker, how the hell did the bloke not get a red for that!
Yes a silly reaction from Cisse but it is a very natural reaction when you've just been assaulted - and that is what that challenge was.
And how the duck did O'Hara get to stay on the pitch.
You cannot really abuse a man for acting so naturally to what happened even if, from a distance, it's appears to be daft.
How many of you would not react if someone had a dig at you?
I am just so frustrated with the lack of consistency in our game. The foul warranted a bigger punishment than the reaction, so did O'Hara's assault on Barton who, to his credit, just got up and got on with it..............should have made a meal of it IMO because we would have won a 10 a-side just as easily as we were in contol of 11 aside

Yes I was shocked by Barton's reaction, looked pretty bad and O'Hara got away with it although Derry got away with quite a bad one too. Lots of fouls in the first half.

no it was not a leg breaker! The defenders left leg clearly won the ball and as his drivht leg came through it took his feet. The defenders leg was bent on impact with no studs showing. It was a yellow card and no more.

I would hardly say Cisse grabbed his throat, it was more a push away. A booking would have sufficed, such decisions are why football fans are not attending games, surely some common sense should prevail but there doesn't appear to be much of that left in football these days.

I'm sorry mate but I don't agree, you see worse challenges than that every week in the Premier League. If Cisse is going to react like that every time he may as well retire.

That picture tells the whole story! I think a couple of posters got it right when they said he should have just stayed down and rolled around, they could have had the red card!

what an idiot, he was playing well. He should know better with his experience and now has lost us 3 points and misses the next 3 vital games, prat of the highest order.

Barton didnt cover himself in glory either, at fault for the 1st wolves goal
