JT will get a custodial sentence if found guilty. Might not be long but he will go inside.

Joey Barton on Twitter.... talking about John Terry

there are two issues here.
1. JT is a tw@t
2. JB is a tw@t
Can't stand either of them, but one plays for us and the other plays for Chelsea. That is about all the difference I can see and reaction is slightly different when fans of either club talk about them.
It just makes me laugh what a tw@t had a pop at another tw@t. Well it would if this whole thing wasn't so sad and boring now.

I'm no fan of John Terry's, but that would be bloody ridiculous, especially when you take into consideration the fact that in this idiotic country, a banker can steal £1.4million and get off scot free.
A sense of proportion is very badly needed by some in this silly country.

Some people need to actually look at facts before getting all worked up about the state of this country.

John Terry is a man who is paid vast sums of money to lead his team and his country. He is looked up to by children not just in England but across the world, who aspire to be like him. I'm sorry but what sort of example is he setting?
In a modern age where football and society as a whole has spent 20 years trying to eradicate this sort of mindless, racist behaviour John Terry must be held accountable and the FA should throw the book at him!

Now, this will really have you hitching up your skirts and shrieking, but here goes anyway, I didn't need you to tell me that Terry wouldn't get a custodial sentence for calling another man nasty names, and to emphasise that, I used the example of a REAL criminal getting off scot free for something a hell of a lot more serious.
I should have been a teacher, I think.

No way on this earth, should one man, calling another man names, no way should that be blown out of all proportion.
We are grown men ffs, we should be able to settle matters like this in moments, not weeks and months.
I agree that the FA should throw the book at him, but the police, the courts, should have far more important things to be getting on with.Last edited by BUSHRANGER1982; 04-02-2012, 12:39 PM.

If you were saying that a fictional prison sentence for name-calling would be ridiculous, when compared to theft receiving no conviction then I'd agree, but that statement is just a touch redundant isn't it?
