Its a big risk matty.. Maybe it will work against a wolves side.. Would need traore playing on the wing tho.. Swp and mackie can't defend.

Taarabt is more than capable off working for the team, play him down the left or right it really is that simple

Everyone saying Taarabt is incapable off playing in a 4-4-2 under Hughes what evidence do you have to suggest he can't?

You can tie both Adel's legs together and he'd be more effective than SWP and Mackie put together

I think Sparky is gonna swap Samba for Luke with Luke on the bench. Just got that feeling.

Good debate with valid points from sides and goes to show that if Adel fit and has the correct head in place what a tough job Hughes has.

I can see Adel paying more at home than away, as watching Cisse against Villa his movement it cryed out for someone with vision and some passing ability to put the balls behind the defence for him to run on, now Adel has that.

The problems comes when playing away from home when teams are setup to attack you you need the work rate and tackling abilities to close them down, break up attacks and win the ball, this is not what Adel's strong point and were Buzz is better than Adel. However when we are at home, we are the on the front foot as team setup differently, then you could look at utilising Adel skills and vision to unlock and utilise Cisse and Zamora, but this could all be a waste of time becuase if adel is unfit or dosnt have the right application then quite simply Hughes wont play him and move him on.

Adel like to show boat and entertain 1st and the result 2nd but Hughes only wants to win, either ugly or he dosnt mind, as long as win
One for all.... and all for one

I'm sure Taarabt can adapt to what Hughes wants from him

Last time I watched Buz he was huffing and puffing and struggling, great corners and freekicks but need lots more then that if your going to be an all round Prem player

And I think he knows it. He has to track back a bit more now.
Do also bear in mind that he probably thinks that surrounded by all the quality players we now have brought inn, he doesn´t need to dream of being a part of all the Malaga teams of the world.
It´s up to him to earn himself a place in a decent team in the prem now.
But anyhow, I do still wonder what his advisors now will demand in wages for him.
As I see it, that can also be a problem..

I'm sure that Mark Hughes will play Adel whenever possible.

I also agree with some, that Adel could play in a 4-4-2 formation, I mean, why not?

I, for one, cannot wait to see the team that MH puts out on Saturday, as it will undoubtedly be quality, on that, we can all rest assured.

I think we might just see a more focused taarabt under Hughes. Sparky doesn't strike me as the type of manager who will put up with the stuff he got away with in the past. As for the 4 4 2 debate, there's no reason why taarabt can't play on the wing, he did so more than once last season. He's better than mackie, and it might just give swp the kick up the jacksy he needs with some competition.

As I said before, Buzz is better suited in the 4-4-2 than Adel. Not saying I think Buzz is the better player, but he gives us more balance in the middle.

I can see Adel coming on later in the game for Cisse, and playing just behind Zamora, but that's about it. I'd much prefer Traore on the left wing than Adel, and regardless of how some feel he's performed, I'd rather SWP on the right than Adel. He is not a winger. It's that simple.

If Ali was fit, I could see Adel working well in this formation...

                      ---------------------Kenny-------------------

                      --Young-------Anton------Onuoha------Taiwo

                      -------------------Diakate-------------------

                      -------Barton----------------Faurlin----------

                      -------------------Adel----------------------

                      ------------Cisse----------Zamora-----------

Other than that, I can't see where he fits.
With out doubt that's a good line up Benny , but lets get this season out of the way first I dont see Faurlin playing again this seson

I dont care how he does it but Taarabt has got to be part of this teams plans, love watching him play.

Still so gutted Faurlin got injured in the stupid cup, With him still in the lineup we would easily be a top half team.

Adel can still be our most creative player. He spots passes and plays defence splitting through balls that no-one else sees, and it will sometimes be the match winning pass.

However, that creativity is usually only for about 5 mins of a game, and it's the other 85 that worries me. Can be a magical player or a liabilty, it is a real dilemma for Sparky.

Firstly, thank you for seeing what i've been saying for so long
                              And
Ok Dale, for once i may side with you...

Still believe my opinion on Tarbs but i think he could do left or Right mid if he puts the work in..

He could be a consistant prem player if he got himself fit and disciplined....i know all about the skill thing but i could go to gunnersbury park and watch players trap a 50 ft high ball...
thing is..and i've never denied..he has the skill, but so do a lot of others. Well now, all those others are in our team, so he has to either deliver or "do one"...

MH; a former man utd and Barca player will not take crap from a "wanna be" and all the players will respect that,

I think Tarbs has something to offer us, but he may need to change his game/ attitude...

Last year is gone..we need players to man up now for this year.

                              IMHO
