With champions league experience. he'd have to give Borrowdale a run for his money surely.

Anyone gone back to that Ipswich fan who reckoned Delaney was "a hidden jewel" and asked what he reckons now....?

Thought he did really well going forward, got into some very good positions but was not picked out. Shame we didn't get to see much of his defensive ability, but i guess maybe against Southampton we might.

must admit after losing out on fox id like to see us going for spurr or if not craine, but i guess they wd cost money...

Actually, if there really isn't any money I'd offer Sheff Wed a good squad player as a swap. I know a lot of people really rate Hogan for instance, but as things stand he isn't likely to get too near the first team, whereas Spurr wd walk into it 42 times a year.

Very rarely sign trialists, I was not too impressed to be honest. Crossing the ball in, when should have gone for the short passes.

Seeing as i thought it was Borrowdale coming on I watched him closely as he was right in front of me. He got badly caught out of position early on and his first touch, a pass to Balanta was awful. He did improve though but his crosses were to the far post, as were Ramages and we had no one there. be interesting to see how he plays in a full match as he was improving.

                              Pellicori being an exception, presumably?
