  • Neil Warnock. Is he still hungry?

Odds on now for the Leeds job, but does he still want it? Anyone know if talks have happened?

He seems settled in Richmond, is 'bus pass' age, has the cornish farm for weekends/retirement, and has talked about more media work over management.

I don't think he does want it anymore. Can see him doing more TV stuff, but then again he could still have passion and still be driven, just can't think why he would go back up north, and I'd guess Mrs W wouldn't be happy, especially due to kids schooling.

I can imagine him at Bristol City or Plymouth/Torquay, but not yorkshire, surely? Good luck to him whatever he does.

Would be a bad move for Neil, IMO.
Leeds have no money to spend on players.
They are a selling club now, Howson to Norwich doesn't exactly augur well for the future at Elland Rd.

And last, but certainly not least, they have a total pr1ck in Ken Bates running their club.
Neil Warnock, Ken Bates, two more contrasting characters is hard to imagine, will give a whole new meaning to the term, clash of personalities.

Don't go there, Neil....Something better is bound to turn up soon.

I agree Gerry. My guess is Neil will take a job south of the Midlands only. he is still hungry but said he has loads of media work which he's enjoying and he hasn't had more than a few week's break from football - playing/managing - since 1968.
On the other hand, by all accounts he and cuddly Ken have a mutual respect and there is a possibility due to their apparent friendship.

I think the odds are poor and certainly wouldn't back on them irrespective of what I've said above.
