Yeah, coz when your at the game you don't follow the ball you watch an individual for 90mins!...give it a rest....

The hard facts are that watching a game on the TV you only get to see what the producer wants you to - the man with the ball and the area around him. Sat in the stands you can see players work rates and running off the ball; you can see the shape of the whole team and can often see why a player has or has not decided t, for example, switch a pass to the opposite flank.
You can also work out the two teams tactics and steps being taken to thwart each others plans.
That is why I so often get frustrated with people criticising performance from a TV or Computer stream viewing.

Again, give it a rest. I accept that on TV you can only see what is shown, but from every game I have every attended I also only watch the players with the ball - why? I wouldn't want to miss something because I was studying another player run off the ball, stare at the bench in case a change is made or any other nonsense that people come out with when this debate comes up.

T will get better with games under his belt , hill gave away the dodgy pen v chelsea he should have known not to get so close to the cheating sturidge bad positioning should have been goal side of him also has no pace although he has always given his all. dont judge tt after one game villa were good in 2nd half

                      • Best thing would be to play TT at left back, Traore in front of him wide left, and make it clear that if TT goes forward, someone needs to cover behind him.
2nd goal last night,he was pulled a long way forward, but I suspect he is used to being covered when he does that.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

absolute joke. at no point during the transfer window was hill considered good enough to be the 1st choice left back. we sign taiwo, who has played at a higher level and you have written him off after 1 game!!

                            • 1 game, is that how long it takes now? Sure they'll be booing him by half time if we aren't 3-0 up on Saturday!
