What happened with Taiwo last night?

It isn't your point at all. You said to drop Taiwo for clint hill....how could he improve with games by being dropped?

I would drop him for Hill against Wolves only. From the bench Taiwo will get the chance to see how Hill cope with his defensive part of the play. Positioning, marking etc.
Then he will learn from that and play for us again.
As I see it, he(Taiwo) is a liability ATM, but will most likely improve his play.

He was at fault for the second goal... dragged out into centre midfield position and a player as smart as robbie keane was always going to find the space. I rekon he will be class but I think he needs to learn how to position himself in premier league football.

Lots of different views on this but the simple conclusion is.....Yes he did look out of depth early on due to the fact he has his Italian defending head on as if you watch Italian full backs they do not defend tight at it was apparent last night when Villa realised this and constantly attacked him in the first half.When the Villa player was wide on the touchline Taiwo was on the edge of the penalty box which gave them time to attack him a get very good deliveries in,im sure MH will watch the game back and hopefully over the next few games you will find he changes his defending methods and gets closer to the wide man...GIVE HIM TIME AND A CHANCE TO SETTLE IN..

Having watch The Villa game at Loftus Road this season, I was very suprised at how different they were last night.Maybe that is the Nzogbia/Keane effect, but their movement was very very good.

Before the game i would have taken a draw....like most managers and even though we were lucky to be two up....Og...numerous penatly shouts against us...i would have been annoyed that we threw away a 2-0 lead.

Having said all that....When did Cisse last play? When did ned last have 90 mins..When did Hulse last start a game.?

When Taiwo last start a game?...Plus this is his first game in UK....Would Hill have been any better??? Possibly, but Hughes has identified that the LB is an up for grabs position, thats why he has brought in Taiwo.

"Experts" in the Sky room ...Walsh...said that Cisse would be crap....He scored after 13 mins.

I fully expect us to beat Wolves this sunday....with Hill...or Taiwo at left back...They are that poor in my opinion....But, whether it be Hill or Taiwo, who ever is in front of him.....needs to help him out FFS.

As supporters, we also need to give a player a little more than 90 mins to decide his fate.

What I was suggesting, and you are a case in point, was that some people on here obviously have a very hard time dealing with the fact that the opinions they themselves hold, are not universally shared by others, and when that becomes crystal clear, make their inability to deal with said finding, so abysmally obvious.
