Yeah despite being four yards out it was a difficult finish, ball was smashed across and he was hardly expecting it! Most of them time you see those balls fly all the way through without anyway getting a touch at all!

No worries mate, just correcting those who assumed I said it was Mackies fault we didn't win.

It was one of those 'if only' moments. Anyway, I would of taken a draw before the game, so I'm happy. plus I got first scorer bet up, so well pleased.

It was to fast and only needed the slightest of touches.

Shocking miss by a player who simply isn't up to playing at this level. It's like watching Tony Scully at times.

Dont know how you could defend that miss, It was shocking and when you cost your team a goal like that it hurts a lot.

Agreed. I'm sure in the last few weeks I saw a top four prem player miss an identical cross. Hit at speed thru a packed box.

He was awful again last night

I know we all want the best for him but it aint happening in the Prem

Its hard to watch him as you know when he gets it he gives it away or just runs with it until he loses it

I wanted him to do so well but its getting frustrating watching him game after game running round like a headless chicken

What annoys me on here is that some people get a fixed perception of a player, and a herd mentality kicks in, and they just cannot see when said player has a particular good game. I'm not talking specifically about JM, but in general.

I'm not a Spackie fan and maybe he should of scored, but he was a tad better last night; still not good enough mindyou whereas Derry, dear God, he is totally useless at this level. He runs around a mile of the pace, not tracking runners and doing sod all and then there's Barton; release the bleeding ball quicker! He thinks he can dribble like Maradona when in fact all he can do is dribble like a 1 year old....Rob Hulse, the saviour as some liked to make out the other day. If he was a better option than Macheda - who is sh..e, then some people need there eyes and brains testing.
