Spurr is better than average. I've never seen him have a mare and I've seen him more than 10 times. Granted, it's hardly an amazing amount of times to watch someone, but he's done enough to show me he'd be a very good addition.

I think the last time I said Cook was class was a good 18 months ago.

And IMO Spurr is average, hes been at Wednesdays since 2005 if he was good he would have moved on like Chris Brunt.

You shouldn't write off Cookie's season.
I think he can be a very key player if he can get fit and Jim gets him playing with confidence. Fitness is temp class is perm!

I was really going by the position he plays in the under 21s and where he played on loan to charlton, only really played centre back with us.
