I know a agent who's been working for qpr actively trying to move players on, as you can imagine its not been all that straight forward, plenty of interest from clubs, but hard to shift some that are on pretty good weekly salaries.
Yeah agree Bush it's the nature of the bussiness.
I think normally when players leave us we're glad to see the back of em or we can't afford to turn down bids, some of these helped us actually win something, and are well thought of.

We would need to still cover a percentage of the wages we are paying players in order to move most on. It may be annoying paying some of their wages still, but if they are never going to play for us again, better to only be paying a split of their salary than all of it up until their contract would expire.....
Personally I would be tempted to keep the likes of Hill, Orr, and Ramage around til the end of the season purely cos they're good popular pros and keep dressing room morale up. Don't want to change too much too soon if we want to hit the ground running...

And to play devils advocate if the worst came to the worst and we went down they wouldn't be bad players to have in The Championship next season...
I doubt Vine will accept a percentage, he'll want the contract paid up in full !
I meant if they transfer to another club, we would still need to pay a percentage of any wages, as would the buying club, because they would be too high for any other club to match.....
Therefore we off load the player and only pay a quarter or half their wage until the time their contract would be up, rather than have then sitting at QPR doing nothing and we pay all their wage.

Nature of the beast.
Yep, its why its been so hard to move players. Most on very good monthly salaries, championship clubs simply cant offered. Plus waiting for other clubs to move players on, before they can take players on loan. Far to big a squad now and must be cut dramatically.
