to be honest I am bored to death of all this race and sexuality stuff at the moment.

I am intersted in football, not the bloody circus. I shall leave this thread now.

That's terribly sad, and anyone who has contributed to this should think how they'd feel if they couldn't even acknowledge their wives or girlfriends in public for fear of the abuse they'd receive at work, or on the streets.

I thought we might be getting close to a point where gay footballers could come out safely, if this board is representative of football fans in general, then it's a long, long way off.

Well done boys, give yourself a pat on the back.
Its a mans game at the end of the day, why does society have to accept things all the time because some leftie tells you that you should. Next you will be telling us not to give the likes of Terry stick. I work in an industry where gays would be openly mocked, so what!!! I wouldn't want an openly gay player at QPR due to the sheer amount off stick we'd get.

Keep it private, they earn a good living small price to pay for staying in he closet until the end off their playing careers.

            'It's a man's game' - Yes, and they're men.

You don't have to accept it, it's a fact of life.

We were giving Terry stick for being a racist, but you should be stick-free for being a homophobe?

You seem proud to work in a bullying environment, which is odd. If it's not too close to real life, can I ask what industry you're in?

Would you hide your wife or girlfriend away from public life, and never be seen in public with her, or acknowledge her existence for any amount of money?

It is a man's game (though also played by women). But the funny thing is the rugby player and the cricketer who had the guts to come out as gay are more of a "man" than any of the weak cowards hiding behind a keyboard thinking that they are somehow proving how macho they are by spouting utter ignorant rubbish about gays.

Rochestr Joey Barton is a legend in your eyes because he spouts something you like?
Would rather he was a legend for making a huge impact on a game in an Rs shirt,
instead of not being capable of delivering an accurate dead ball.

Increasingly like your replies. If you haven't got anything to say, why bother?

how is it cowardly to express your opinion on subject? surely it more cowardly to say nothing and just go along with somebody else's opinion because they shout it out the loudest? you have your opinions and i have mine , i can live with it..can you?

Good grief, you are joking, right?

Have you read your own demeaning comments to others, and for nothing less than voicing an opinion which differs to yours?

Whatever meaningful thing I have to say, won't ever, well, not in my lifetime anyway, be wasted on you.

The irony of all this though, which seems to escape you, is that your take on free speech, is no different to Hitler's, or Stalin's, to take two ends of the political spectrum.

Oh, the wink isn't because I fancy you, so don't get any ideas.
