You said Connolly would 'have to wait to fill Stewarts boots' and also said in not so many words that the reason Connolly plays LB is not because the other two can't play there which would pretty much mean you feel he wouldn't be picked ahead of the other two. Seriously, for me. Gorkss is our best central defender, Stewart is likely to make one rickett per match, last season he got away with it. I thought he was outstanding when he had likes of Barker and Malcolm with him, but thought his end of season petered out. For that reason, I would have Connolly and Gorkss centre backs.

You have taken my post out of context, I was not implying that Stewart is this mighty centre half who would be hard act to follow.

Anyway you haven't actually answered my question which is will Connolly start against Blackpool at CB if we sign a LB....which is what you said yes /no?. Personally I would be happy if it was the case, but as I said answer the ****ing question.

Connolly can play anywhere along the back 4, no-one else can.

What Sousa was doing playing a 6ft 4 Fitz Hall right back, I will never know. But, thats another subject entirely.

Tough call, but guess first game might come just a little too soon for Rowlands to actually start. Same might be the case for Buzsacky. All these 45 and 60 minutes keep adding up and great for the players, but you have to start with players you know can play for 90 minutes and these guys have been out for a long time. Buzz out in Slovenia was not training twice a day like the others for example.
