No service. Asks for the ball on his feet, gets one over the top and vice versa..not saying he's the answer but ferguson would not have him if he was muck
Ferguson clearly don't want him hence loans, reserves etc!
Fergie is not the messiah when it comes to young talent as some would have you believe. Apart from the golden era of Butt, Scholes, Nevilles, Beckham etc what young players has he brought through that has made it big?
Mellow you are obviously not reading my posts or choosing not to. Do you think he works hard enough to make something for himself like a lot of the better strikers do?
Ric ive not read any of your posts on this thread. None of our strikers do it for apart from HH. But even with him he's got 0 pace but that's irrelevant when you consider the outstanding job he's done for us this and last season. Alex ferguson still knows a player when he sees one.. I'm not saying he's a world beater mate but I'm not convinced he's been as bad a some make out.
havent read this thread, but i thought he was one of the best players on the pitch second half, didnt do anything but chased every single ball and didnt give up, more than most players offered in the second half

Mackie does that!
Offers nothing a decent forward should.
Aggression
Guile
Intelligence
Pressure
Hold up play
Picking up knock downs or second balls.
NOTHING!
P.S. I'm still waiting for this fantastic list of youngsters that Fergie has brought through.
cant knock that mate, your right on every point, just thought he worked for it today, whereas the rest of the team seemed to of surrenderd for most of the second half.
we desperatly need a new stiker, (to play alogside cambell)
Macheda reminds me of Priskin, that bloke we had on loan from Ipswich. Just sort of wafts about 20 yards behind the ball. Doesn't go for headers, can't seem to trap a ball, didn't drop into midfield looking for it. When he gets out-classed by Hulse it says something. Absolutely staggers me he is still on United's books. I've seen more gritty determination from Jay Bothroyd. Send him back plse.
As i said on another thread he looks unfit to me! Not just a bit rusty but unfit, every time he sprints he is gasping for air afterwards very strange for a pro footballer!!!!!!
