I didnīt dare to say it, but
I agree 100 % regarding Hulse and his situation under Warnock.

Send him back to United. So little effort. Played like a poof.

The interesting thing I thought today watching Hulse made me think we signed him with an injury and then he picked up another one. He was shite when he played last season but with better fitness and improved training sessions with the new set up he could be an option with with 15-20 mins to go against our relegation rivals.
Said the exact same thing to my pal at the game. Could turn out to be a very handy player to have knocking around.

Maybe the reason Hulse looked so good was because we were so bad, this is Rob Hulse we are talking about.Apparently MH has been quoted as saying Hulse could save us a fortune in the next couple of days, don't think i would want to pin prem survival on his shoulders

Looks like an iron as well

As for Hulse there was a time when he was a decent player, tommy smith for example looks fitter and sharper than I have ever seen him, change off management can always rejuvenate a couple of players

Repeating myself here but here goes, would do him no harm to chase lost balls, jump with some intent for headers, make runs off the ball, harass the defenders, wait for a mistake or a loose ball. All things you can gain from as a striker if you put the graft in.

Did Macheda do any of this? Did he f*ck. A passenger today the same as he has been EVERY other game he's played for us.

Its not all about sh!t service its making a bit of your own luck & this lazy pr!ck won't gain a thing playing the way he does. Hulse came on & looked to do a bit of bullying & nearly won himself a penalty. More than Macheda has done in 6 odd games.

                    Shite player.

I do agree with that Ric a striker that harries, and don't give the defenders a minutes peace will get himself a chance or two.
But this is what i feel was missing from the Rs today all over unlike the 1st game,we are limited in quality which we have to make up for with harrassment for want of a better word.
Not convinced with Hulse, and don't want us pinning our hopes on him for survival.

Totally agree Dave. If we have to depend on him to stay up let's be honest we're f@cked but as W12 said earlier a good strong bully to bring on with 20 to go.

Can't say I'm over optimistic about getting a decent striker in you?

As for the team I agree no one shone but we didn't do ourselves any injustice we held our own on the whole. My problem is Macheda has a sh!t game EVERY week not just today. Others can be excused.

Macheda doesn't deserve a place in the 25 - just like puncheon it would be a waste of a space

Mine turn now to repeat something I said when Hulse was pony last season - and for the record Kingy, when you say everyone you don't speak for us all.................................Hulse has been a decent goalscorer in his career. We signed him injured, he played for us less than 100% fit, let alone match fit and people abused him. Ok he wasn't setting the world on fire but he was clearly not fit.
At 100% fit and match fit, he has a proven goal scoring record which kicks Macheda into oblivion and if Hulse gets a place in the 25 man squad and comes off the bench ahead of Macheda I for one will get behing him because he showed in his brief spell on the pitch that he was far more interested in earning his wage than the other bloke.

And that's a fact, not because I say so but because even a blind man could see the difference between their respective work rates and body language.
