Then reverted to running around like a headless chicken again for the final half hour.

Home fans were pretty frustrated with him. Hence he didn't last long there either.

Lasted long enough to smack 25 goals in 58 games for them.

But, at least your opinion is based on watching him that night. Unlike some of the bizzare & lazy responses to seeing his name linked, based on not a lot.

A top, top 30 year old striker.
Not a wide man, which Lazio's coach seems to think he is.

    A definite YES.

As for, him being 30, it depends how he's aging, doesn't it? He might be reaching his peak and good for 5 more top seasons, or he may indeed be past it.

I'm disappointed Adel has missed these couple of games to show MH what he can do. Very bad timing for him to be away, especially when he barely played. A liability i realise, but such skill i love having him around and still think he could potentially succeed over here.

Was thinking the same. Traore as well. Maybe Sparky has ear-marked him for the midfield role but after seeing Clint in training he made left back a priority. Both can be frustrating but both also have the POTENTIAL to be big, big players.

" part exchange" doesn't make sense as Taarabt is valued at about £ 6 million,I agree we should hold on to him

Don't believe that for a second.

Why would Hughes sanction the sale of a player he knows has incredible talent before he's had the chance to even work with him. He's potentially a massive player for us and MH is in the process of strengthening the squad, not offloading some key players.

Also, it was said a £5m buy, which is what Lazio payed 6 months ago.... how can a player they are prepared to offload after such a short time suddenly have gone up in price to the tune of adding Adel into the mix..? Garbage (I hope)

There are some fantastic goals among those in that Youtube clip... not sure who it was who said most of his goals in Greece were tap ins, but you're have a giraffe!

It doesn't matter too much about the opposition to see he is a brilliant finisher right foot / left foot or with his head. Didn't realise he was as good in the air. Also he has very clever movement, which is what got him the tap ins previously mentioned, also brilliant technique, loved the lob at 6:48. Class. Not to mention he's got pace to burn!

Sign him up sparky and keep Adel to provide the service.

quite right Traore too. Didn't know him at all when we got him, but he looks better than who Arsenal have at the moment! Still learning, but great potential to me. The new Kyle Walker :-)

Taarabt to me still looks like the most talented player on a ball that i've ever seen. I just loved having him last year (apart from away to Hull), amazed not player of the year, and wish he has more chances to stay. He hit the post against Wigan on the 3rd week of the season, if that'd only gone in...

He was unlucky in the games he'd played before he was bombed out by NW. He hit the post twice against Wigan, and also had a wondrous effort against Villa hit corner of post and bar with Given nowhere near it, also had one against Bolton cm's wide....

It's been fine margins and just not gone for him, leading to him getting frustrated. MH will get the best out of him i'm sure.

him and swp looked unplayable in spells early on against newcastle, wolves and villa at the start of the season i thought...
