If you could pick either Sir Les OR Rodney in their prime to play in the current QPR team, who would it be?

Very tough call but it would have to be Rodney for pure entertainment value.
What would be good to see would be some comparative stats from SPC re these two!oldhoop

But on the other hand Rodney was our top scorer back then. So if we play Rodders as an out and out striker then Rodney.Last edited by rangersroar; 26-07-2009, 07:31 PM.

Right thats its the poll has finished. Sir Les wins it as he was like a goal head start.
Best centre forward in QPR history. Well done Sir Les we will always remember you with great pride.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Obviously Rodney was a better all round player and one of the most skillful players in British footballing history, a classic numnber 10.
But Les was a better finisher, an out-and-out goalscorer and physically a lot stronger, a classic number 9.
So overall not really a fair comparison.
Agree its also a generational thing - the younger fans will vote for Les because they'll have seen him play live.
