People I know who couldn't make it, and ST holders who didn't need their extra's. I hedged my bets as I needed 4, but then other Rangers fans I knew bought the others. None went to stay away fans other than one of my bros who used to play.
Annoyingly there were loads of new faces who got tickets, and plenty who were there just to wave flags and chat s**t. That wound me up.
Spot on mate. If people can't afford a season ticket or membership then you really have to question if they support the club!
I really don't understand the people who haven't bought a membership, it costs 40 quid and you save 5 quid on matchday prices, therefore if you go to 8 home games you've got your money back and also it guarantees a seat for every home game and also gets you a ticket for 80% of away games.

Agree mate, nothing worse at a game than being near someone who chat s**t the whole game
First season back in the premiership for years but won't pay 40 quid for a membership, then want tickets to every big home and away game? It's 40 quid not 400!
Really, what excuse is it not to have a membership?

It's only £25 now for a half season membership. Still get all the goodies. Like 10 off in the shop, scarf, and whatever else. Plus 5 discount on tickets.

Not talking for myself here as I have 1, but there are plenty of "excuses" not to throw £40 at a membership:
Some people are in pretty bad situations;owners of small businesses that have gone under/are just about afloat, parents on a very tight budget with a nipper on the way are just a couple of examples.
All sorts of circumstances that people are in, just because you are OK, doesnt mean everybody else is.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Not everyone can afford 40quid in the current economic climate. If you can't afford it, you can't go, simples. To refer to these people as not proper fans is quite frankly a d1ck move on your part.

Does it really bother you that certain people might not be able to afford the price of certain things in life :leaking:
If you feel so strongly and are well off why not help some fellow fans out

Ahhh, the voice of reason speaks, thank you!
Im off to delete my account now as clearly my 40 odd years of following the team dont count anymore
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
no point paying £40 for a membership if you not able to make many games in the season. If you can afford to go and have the free time then great but some peoples lives are not as simple.
