Right, personally i think all talk of signing a new striker should be banned from now until december. Think its pretty clear that it aint gonna happen. Lets be grateful for what we have, which, IMO, is a squad more than capable of promotion. For all the doom merchants on here, take a few mins to read the following and i hope u will feel better after.
I think that from Helguson, Aggy, Vine, Balanta, and Pellicori(think thats him!) we will get at the very minimum 50 goals between them. If we can get heider firing n fit i think he will hit 20+. Balanta if used in the right way could get minimum of 10 and aggy used as a super sub could get another 10. aggy should come on for last 30mins of games for best effect, he will benefit from tired defenses,where his pace n power will be invaluable. I think Vine will get without doubt 15+ this season, most clever player we have n brings the best out of everybody. Now the eyetie, dont know nothing about him but im gonna put my neck out n say he will get 10-15goals. Between the five i genuinely think they could get at least 50between them,but i think definitely will be more.
Now for the midfield. Buzz as we all know will get 10goals minimum,rowlands 5-10, faurlin 0-5, cook 0-5, routledge0-10 and hogan 0-10. that is my prediction. legs n mahon 2-5 each, same for gorkks and connolly. Then we have the mighty taraabt. Think he will get 10goals at least. Reading through this fills me with so much optimism. Forget this waffle bout a striker who gaurantess 20 goals, we dont need one! We will sign beckford in january just for that final push and trust me lads, we are going up.
