  • Akos Buzsaky Considered quitting QPR‎

""In the Christmas period I wasn't even travelling with the team," Buzsaky said.

"That was a really hard, testing time for me, to be as low (as that).

"Of course I thought about maybe moving. When you are sidelined that much you think about everything because I wanted to play football.

"I tried to give 100 per cent in training but for some reason I wasn't in the plans."

"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

I'd love to know Warnock's reasoning, it was ridiculous.

      He didn't rate him.
Like all managers have differing opinions on players, and so do we fans

Managers have favorites, I understand that.

If truth be told I wasn't a massive Buzsaky fan a while back but he's my favorite player now Lee Cook doesn't get a look in. Great player, Premier League made already.

As good as a new signing? I think so!
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I've always thought highly of Buz, never doubted him but Warnock obviously never rated him...but now Hughes is in he recognises his talent and dedication, and gets to play! Not only because Faurlin is out as Derry could play, but Hughes chooses Buz over him because he's a very good player!

True...except when Barton pulls rank and insists on taking them :rage:

Seems the "Buzz isnt good enough for the PL" brigade have changed their tunes as of late! I seem to remember an awful lot of people on hear dismissing me and other posters when we mentioned Buzz needing games as he had the potential to be a great PL player.

All except Dazzer tbf, at least nobody can accuse him of being fickle and jumping on any bandwagons!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Buzz always looked to me to be a better fit for the PL than the championship, and he's beginning to show signs of the form we know he's capable of - like a new signing!

Join the club mate. I never doubted Buzz or HH to make the grade when all around had written them off. Of course Buzz has only done it in a couple of games so far but I think its no coincidence that the first time a manager gives him a run in the team he repays him by showing what he's about. As long as he stays clear of injury and is played regularly I'm sure there'll be plenty more Wigan-style performances from him. But he is a confidence player who will flourish when a manager believes in him and plays him in the right position, just like Di Canio did.

People criticise his lack of pace but I honestly dont see that as a major issue because he's an intelligent player with good positional sense, knowing when to stick and when to make a run (eg Sherringham). He's never been the type to make surging runs, going past players but he's quick enough over 5 yards; and he more than compensates for that with his passing, shooting and set-piece ability.
