Some great strikes at goal and a stunning free kick. Something we have been missing for months now. That bit of quality in front of goal.

Oh come on Wigan were poor side and if we never won that the writing was on the wall and we'd be all talking about relegation. Buzz hardly set the game on fire, Barton was so much better! Rodallega's goal was just as good but nothing will be said about his tireless performance upfront because they lost. When we play better opposition I bet you won't be saying that. Get real.

Because under Warnock we had a guy called Faurlin if you remember and there is no way Buz starts over Faurlin in CM.

He is not nearly good enough defensively to start in a 2 man CM against better teams. Even today he showed some poor defensive work. He has proved that he is by far our best Free kick taker and long range shooter, is this enough to play him in a more advanced roll? Maybe Hughes will modify tactics to accomodate him, we shall wait and see.

Try reading the post I was replying to. I answered the question "would we have won TODAY if Warnock was in charge." How can faurlin start over buzz if hes out with a knee injury? Warnock I'm 99% sure would probably have started with barton and Derry. He wouldn't have picked buzz.

Yes we do need all the players we can get but not at exhorbitant prices. At the moment we do not have too many injuries, but we only need to lose a couple of players and the situation changes. Also we are going to have a lot tougher matches than Wigan at home.
