Being near his ill mother can be the only logical reason. And let's be fair we'd all do exactly the same thing. Its ok saying the hospitals in London are the best, he clearly doesn't want to uproot his mum who should be comfortable at all times as the last I heard she was very ill.

Blimey, no disrespect intended or anything, but Dazzer i think sometimes you need to take a bit longer thinking about what you're going to write.

His mum has terminal cancer i believe and will be having loads of treatment for it. This doesn't stop her having a voice and being able to speak if she wants to. But that doesn't then mean she'd want to up sticks and relocate to another part of the country, change hospitals, specialists, not to mention leaving friends when she needs them most, and deal with the stress of a move itself etc etc etc.

Just my opinion.

What annoys me is that it was common knowledge he wanted to stay in the North to be with his ill mum and has been mentioned countless times last week. So with that understanding, how have we wasted so much time pursuing him without first making sure he was prepared to move, which clearly he isn't...
