Yeah but the fundamental point you're missing with that is, yes he says results cost him his job, but he himself never accepted any responsibility for the poor results... it was always someone or something else that was to blame, never his selections, poor tactics or bad substitutions.

W12 Ranger , I feel you are not far from the truth ? And if this is the case and I was Barton I would have raise it also after all these guys are meant to be professional! . I have never been a avid fan of Neil but greatly appreciate what he done for our club , not sure anyone else could have done what he fron nearly being relegated to the Prem in 2 years .

Obviously he's not going to come right out and say that directly - no manager would.

But by him admitting it was the results that cost him his job the inference of what youre saying is perfectly clear.

Seems our club was much more stable pre JB, even when he was sent off against Norwich, players tended to play without fear.
Idea training is better now is standard footballer speak, every time a manager changes, players come out with the same old lines that training is bettervunder new manager, don't think we should read into it too much.
As to JB just think he's not a QPR player, we as a club have tended to avoid controversial or trouble makers. we have sulkers like Adel but at worse he's found at a bus stop hardly undermining.
I could be persuaded that JB has the clubs prospects at heart but he's been poison at other bigger clubs than us, newcastle's board for all their faults spotted he's trouble and at man city he was disruptive. Just points IMHO that he's troubled.
Even if he is a trouble maker, I wouldn't care if he was good but he is sh/te he incapable of doing simple passes and he's weak, he simply cannot consistently dominate the midfield. Rooney is a gob shite but at least he does things for the club. JB IMHO is pointless on all levels.
Now understand why big teams aren't interested in him he's annoying and not very good.
He may play well for a game or two under Hughes but then will go missing.
It was a panic purchase and as a club one that we'll regret IMHO.

I think we all new it was not good on and off the pitch, but we all felt a bit uncomfortable in blaming any one person. A bit like when your friends cheating on his misses you know it's wrong but don't want to say anything. Anyway that's all history, so let's draw a line under the NW era coz he ain't coming back and get behind the boys 100% whether you agree with joey or neil etc. etc. So here's to three points this afternoon and back out of the bottom three.

If jb was perfect he wouldnt be at rangers

We're not where the top players would go if they had no baggage

ofcourse its undermining, how would storming out half way through a game not be. in a way warno had lost the dressing room by then, if you cant control one of your players everything is bound to collapse like a house of cards eventually and seemingly it did. Berating players players publicly and refusing to shoulder the blame personally doesnt look good either.

No one is perfect but difference between Adel and NW (I accept the behaviour was poor) and that of JB is the former actually have achieved great things for QPR which will go down in folklore, the latter has been here for a few mths done f'""" all on the pitch and been a pain off it. I cannot see any benefit JB has brought to our club but can with Adel and NW but as said let's move on and get our 3 points.

IMO,its typical Neil.Great bloke loves everyone when all going gravy, when it starts to go wrong blames the world. He simply isnt Prem standard and just cant admit it.He belives his own hype.Barton is spot on IMO.
Neiljust cant let it go,when he joined us he went on about Palarse for a year,he will do the same now. Also he is playing the victim but unfortunatly for him he is not universonaly liked in the game and a lot dont give a shite. He loves the spotlight for sure and hes never had such a high profile with the media at any club except ours.Attention seeking know it all/**** all bitter man .

Spot on Brooksie. Joey is still here, Warnock has gone. Let's get behind Joey and everyone else wearing the kit today. We need a win today, and we can play our part.

Barton raises concerns about the coaching staff coming into work still hung over or half pissed from the night before and that the manager is spending half his time living in Cornwall during the week when he should be on the training pitch...along with concerns above the actual standards of coaching.

So the Board concerned approach NW who tells them everything is ok and then NW pulls JB to one side to tell him to wind his neck in. By this point Warnock is losing the dressing room, public dressing downs of Traore and Faurlin do not go down well with the squad along with the handling off Taarabt.....futher tensions from this point probably developed along with the poor performances over Xmas led to NW sacking

Now whether you believe that to be true its up to you but it's in the right boll park IMO. Now if this the case then maybe just maybe our PL survival may end up owing a debt off gratitude to Barton in the same way we owe Warnock a debt gratitude for getting us here in the first place.
As I can see it you`re spot on.

                              Disagree.

Watching the full NW interview he doesnt come across bitter in the slightest bit. He was no doubt being constantly harangued for interviews and thought why not just give his side of the story, of which there is always two sides.

Cherry-picking snippets of quotes, as the tabloids love to do, will of course twist it to make him sound bitter, to give them a more gossipy story and sells more papers.

Great post. What many fail to see is that when the new players first came in we played well but after a few weeks of training with Warnock we were awful.
