Once we've got Onuoha we only really need one of Alex or Samba and considering both players have handed in transfer requests and don't seem to have many other suitors we're in a relatively strong position here.
I heard this the other day that we'd been given permission to talk to the player before a fee agreed, which i think is pretty stupid tbh. I mean why waste the time and effort with personal terms, medicals etc to then go to Chelsea and say yes we'll sign him, at which point they know you really want the player, as opposed to a casual try your luck bid, and they say they want £7m to recoup most of the outlay for Cahill.
Very strange.... But given the deal was supposedly agreed with the player, could this agreement over a fee with Chelsea be the real stumbling block and what is delaying the deal happening?
He could be saying this to cover up the medical problem, in the hope that other clubs might come in. Also if there is a medical problem then a fee has probably not been agreed on our side.

That´s right. But my worry is that Alex according to rumours will not be able play that many matches before he needs a rest.
Personally, I reckon the Samba deal as a no go. But I take the hint about Blackburn and their financial situation though.
Who says he can't play many games without needing a rest???? Blimey we are QPR and it's not as if we will have European games midweek along with league games on the weekend. He will get regular rest between games and the international breaks as not involved with Brazil anymore (i think).... i'm sure he'd be fine as he's hardly Kieron Dyer is he.
