I just wanted to mention a few things, as always I read the board hopping people will be on the same boat as me haha... sadly like any forum there are lots of opinions and some I feel are way of the mark and said in vain.
Yes I like numbering things... (in case any has picked up on this...)
The Team
1. Mark Hughes - There is 100% a difference in the team and the structure already. (Buzz starting, 4-4-2, strong defensive unit)
2. MH is working on a team with NO CONFIDENCE, NO WINS AND NO GOALS. (finally we win, it wasnt pretty, but we WON)
3. We are missing three KEY/HUGE players and influences. Adel, Barton and Traore (Skills, Strength and speed) Just saying...
4. We lack confidence, no doubt about it, but the morale looked better and Im sure MH is working on things like that. Giving all players a chance to shine. fair play to him.
5. We need to be a unit, and we look like we are working on this since MH has taken over.
Last Night:
1. It wasnt the best performance, but dont forget it was an F.A Cup game where the underdogs are pushed on by everyone involved in football to beat the big boys. But we did the job, we got the win.
2. In places we kept the ball very well, and looked quite sharp. In fact if we had put away the clear cut chances we had then scoreline would have looked a lot better.
3. Buzz had a good game, and I want to make a point about him and doubters.
- He sprayed the ball around and was our most creative player at points. Linking up well with SWP in actual fact.
- IT WAS GREAT TO SEE HIM PLAYING AGAIN, a top player on his day.
- Got the corner that lead to the goal
- He hasnt really been given a chance under NW, and from reports he got overlooked which is a shame, so fair play to MH for giving him a go.
- Derry needs to be replaced, a sub at most sadly and well of the mark. SWP tackles and works so much harder in the middle of the park.
- SWP, works his nuts off, creates and is lacking a goal... Its all about confidence.
- JB, get off his back, he is a good player and may well be the next Helguson... we all disliked him at one point.
- Anton is a rock - enough said!! Kept us in the game at times, a great signing.
Transfers
1. We will sign players!!!!! I think its clear we need new personnel on board!!
2. Two Defenders, 1 CM, 1 Winger and 1 ST - IMO is needed, 5 in total but its close to the number speculated to bring in.
3. Its not that I doubt the players we have, its taking what we have to the next level.
4. Alex is a great start.
5. Faurlin needs replacing
6. Adel must be kept
Im sorry to rant, and maybe people will dislike this...
In time and with new players we will get the results we need. We will stay up, we need to get behind the team. Seriously is no time to boo players or management.
TF is doing a sterling job and is sorting the team and club out good and proper.
I feel we have been unlucky, and not had the rub of the green, but things are looking up! Its QPR guys, when is anything easy haha... thats how we like!
