these things take time with hurdles to overcome. its not that simplistic. we should all know that. Better to wait and get the the right deal in place for both club and player. Yes, it would be best to get one in before wigan, but better to play the long game.

Tony Fernandes have done a lot of talking in the past couple months , I hope he stick to his promises we are still bringing in 4 or 5 top quality players.

Yeah I'd much prefer Gabbidon If you want top players you pay top wages, we were willing to give Barton that much so Fernandes has brought it on himself, nobody who can play champions league football elsewhere is going to come to us purely because of our club, money plays a big part.
