We have less than 13 days left, to identify, negotiate, sign and introduce new players to the team...

I honestly think unless by Friday 2/3 are in, we have left it too late.

The days are going by and clubs arent really taking us seriously.
We need to put in decnt offers and get our targets.

You've got you remember, Jeff, we're not buying many players who are surplus to requirements these days. Most are sought after players who the likes of Blackburn know they don't have to take the first, second, third or even tenth bid on if they don't want.

By the sound of it Alex is done and dusted, Bridge is looking good and Henrique is close to being done too. If Samba does join I think it will be a deadline day job.

I think we desperately need a couple of central midfielders before the end of the window, if we don't get at least 1 quality CM in then we are in big trouble.

Jeffro, I really dont think we need that many players, but we do need fitness and organising. We have people who can play those positions, but fill in the blanks to make the team better, or change accordingly.

Paul, I do agree, Hughes will get us fitter and better organised.
I was hoping for x2 CB's Alex Samba, Bridge, A big ball winning midfielder and 1/2 CF's .
Also Kenny needs to lose some weight!!

Deffinately time to panic! By the end of transfer window 3 crucial league games would have come and gone wigan H, Villa A, Wolves H, where we have to pick up points sadly with the team we have at the moment I'm not sure we would beat any of these teams so waiting till the last few days of the T/Window is not an option if we have serious ambitions on ataying up the people beed to be brought in NOW!
Also we have a cup game against the **** and without new blood we might be embarrassed after this game?

What happened to our season??
After the Stoke game we were feeling good, solid midtable and on our day capable of beating anyone if we turned up at all. Team spirit seemed to be good (remember the banter when SWP joined re baby chair? Priceless) and most pundits were predicting not just survival but comfortable midtable opulence.
I just don't get what happened, and I'm sure there's a book or two in what took place behind closed doors since that time, but we really look as though we're incapable and have no belief that we can beat anybody right now (notwithstanding last night's result)
Confidence seems to be the greatest casualty and that's not an easy thing to fix. Best of luck in that to Hughes.

Won't look like that, MH prefers a 4-4-2, although he does switch when he has the players organized knowing they can do their jobs, which we're quite a way off yet.
Be nice when we get a few in though.
