Jay Bothroyd still going out wide to cross the ball while little shaun wright phillips gets in the box to try header it, it dont take a genius to work out that it should be the other way fcking round! & SWP is still playing on the left actually under hughes hes played on the left in the centre for about 5 mins at newcastle and hes played on the right! so wheres all the bell ends that was moaning about warnock getting his tatics wrong? mark hughes plays the same and you dont see anyone moaning about hughes? even if it was his second game it was a fcking terrible one, warnock should never have got the sack, hughes will take us down!

Mark Hughes side has been far more organised than we have been all season. The individuals will still do same thing ie Bothroyd not hitting box but going wide
Hughes can't stop him doing that unless he drops him
Suggest you look at all round team play and then you might see the difference

imo we would have won with warnock but thats not what im getting at here... if warno was in charge swp would still be on right he would still be trying to header the ball while bothroyd was crossing it in. what im saying is yeah we have gone through all this trouble to get hughes and for him to play exactley like warnock did what was the bloody point? id much rather see warnock in charge and failing then go through effort to get a new manager and for him to play exactley the same! only differance is hughes passes it more about between the midfield and defence so you know alll the songs we used to sing like ... boring boring villa & boring boring city yeah remember them? well...BORING BORING RANGERS!

'thefatgod1' you just need to stop licking hughes rim lad & fair enough if hughes buys alex henerique etc and then does well you still cant judge warnock because warnock never got the chance to have alex etc in his team at the end of the day most of our fans got expectations too high! i would have took 17th anyday we got promoted we was allways going to be in a relegation scrap and as soon as we got close to it for the first time this season he got booted out the door. imo if warno stayed got the players he wanted we would have survived even if it took it down to the last game where results went our way i would have took it, getting hughes in wasted a week of the transfer market & then for him to play exactley how we have been playing is just shocking really

Play differently? Don't care how we play. We had 1 point from 24, so warnock had to go. Hughes has a good record and is also more likely to attract the kind of players we need to keep us up. Hughes is the manager now, we support him.

Jackk, you seem to forget NW had his chance to beat MK Dons. He failed to do that.

What you saw tonight, is exactly what he left us with. A bunch of older players, lacking in quality, confidence, style and determination.

Don't think anybody has failed to recognise what a fantastic job he did the season before. But likewise, most can see how bad a job he was doing this season. I'm afraid 2 points from 24 says it all.

brightonr, i admit fella that warnocks record is pretty poor but it annoys me to see hughes comming in and playing the same just makes me think we wasted a week in transfer market for nothing. i would have had hope in hughes if he went 433 or something just changed it around or if he managed to keep swp out wide and get him to have chalk on his boots and put in the quality crosses for jb macheda helguson to header i would have been chuffed with hughes but to see this not happen in 2 games & one on our own turf where we should have been attack attack attack against lesser oppisition it was the perfect oppourtunity to do so but swp was still in the box jay b was still crossing it gets on my nerves! and am i the only one who thinks machedas pretty shite or does everyone think it? lol

Warnock is a motivator not a tactician. Hughes more so the opposite

Try reading some off the recent articles on what type of coach Hughes is to gain a better perspective

In all fairness, I think Hughes should be allowed a short time, not long though, to work out for himself just how bad some of these players are. Then, hopefully over a period of time, by which realistically now means next season, we can wish them well at their next clubs.
