First half was all Bothroyd. Did really want to impress and did look interested. He wanted the ball very much and had to come for it, because we had no midfield first half. Faded second half. Think he got tired, because according to Buszaky they didn't work very much in trainings during NW.

Bothroyd was the best player on the pitch tonight...

Bothroyd was made to look good coz he drifted wide and then had more time on the ball against just as slow 1st division opposition, he doesn't get that time in the prem, the defences are too quick for him, so he may have found his level in Div 1?
Our midfield was overrun coz MKD played 3 CM against Buz and Derry until MH changed it by sticking SWP in there too to balance. Overall Buz did OK, Derry is getting slower and is making more mistakes tho, he's getting older and can't do what he used to but still tries.
Both CB's did well, but for the second game Young worries me. He allows the attacker to nip in front too many times, and it cost us at Newcastle, and nearly cost us again. Shame really coz I like him, but it's got to be corrected or he should be dropped.

I personally take my hat off to the guy because i'm ashamed to be an R with all the booing he's got. To be honest the guy must dread receiving the ball. His confidence must be shot to pieces with the *****ic response of some of our fans towards him.
Earlier in the season i watched a Blackburn game and the Blackburn fans booed everything Blackburn did. At that time i thought to myself what a bunch of *****s theyre draining the confidence out of their own team with all the booing. I also thought to myself i'm so glad we don't have that element of fans. Well how foooking wrong i was. Not only did this section of our fans help to get rid of Warnock theyve also helped to undermine the confidence of the whole team. It's plain to see every single player is sh!t scared to go near the ball. The couldron that we talked about creating at home on this forum has totally backfired cos of this booing element. Opposing teams can sense this now that were totally nervous and its giving them the upper hand. MK Dons thrived on the booing tonight and because of it got the upper hand.
Tonight we played MK Dons with our best 4 players missing. WTF do people expect????? The team needed us as a 12th man to make up for the obvious lack in quality in our line up but what did we get? Constant booing of Bothroyd yet he did absolutely nothing wrong all game. He had the bottle to show for the ball even though his confidence is shot. True he drifts out wide too much instead of being in the centre but at least he wants the ball. If everyone got off his back his confidence would come back. FFS he scored 20 odd goals last season and was called up for the England squad. Almost everyone on here was calling for us to sign him. Now everyone wants his head. What a fickle bunch. Not only Bothroyd i've now noticed the slagggging of Luke Young, Gabbidon, Mackie, Dezza, Kenney, Ferdinand in fact the whole fooking team. The fans are the 12th man simple as. Our fans at the moment are making us play with 10 men instead of 11. Why cos of the constant booing of players. Not only does it affect the player getting booed it affects the whole friggin team. Did anyone seriously think this was gonna be a walk in the park??? Yeah some deluded fans might think that way. This was always gonna be one hell of a fight to the bitter end. Get behind your team and give the players a lift not all this negative bull sh!t that affects players confidence. If we scrape a point on the last day of the season to survive then al be cracking one off to celebrate. I don't really care how its done as long as we survive. I knew that from the moment we came up but i fear all the booing is just giving the opposition the upper hand every time we play. I'm sick of hearing its Mackies fault, Its Bothroyds fault, it's warnocks fault its Taarabts fault. Get a reality check its not. Its our fault for not getting behind the team and bigging them up to believe theyre better than they are. Swell their egos and give them confidence. Confidence is the only thing that will get us out of this and a few quality signings. Just look at Naarwich and Swansea how the fans back their own team. Then look at how those teams are full of confidence. Then look at us and Blackburn constantly booing our own players. Enough said.
Now onto the manager situation. You bay for Warnocks blood and get it, then w@nk yourselves silly when its announced Hughes is coming in only for 2 games later to chant "you don't know what you're doing". How embarrassing. There was fook all wrong with NW. He was the best manager we've had here since Gerry Francis. His crime??? He simply didnt have the players to do what he wanted. In the transfer window he would have turned us around. And don't give me this sh!te he wasn't good enough cos no-one will ever know that now cos he was given the boot before he had the chance to get all his own players in. Mark Hughes is now finding how hard it was for NW. To all those who slated NW playing SWP on the left and drooled at what hughsie would do. Well what does your new god do??? Oh shock horror he plays SWP on the left. We still look the same team devoid of all confidence. If we'd have signed Alex "Red Nose ****" Ferguson, Martin O'Neill, Pep Guardiola or foooking God himself nothing will change while we have the majority of our team full of championship players. The only difference MH will bring to NW is that he can possibly bring a better quality player to our team because of who he is.
I was gonna get my coat and tin hat but foook it. Im sick of all the negative sh!te being posted so am gonna sit here and let it all rain down on me. Im foooking sick of this negativity. I love my team more than anything else and if a large majority of you wanna be pessimistic and negative then boolllooox. Im not gonna be like that. We will stay up. Our confidence will return and we will get back to playing proper football again and foook anyone who says different. U R'sss and foooking proud of it.
There is some out there who has used their loaf. Where do you sit fella as I like to sit with people who know have some common sense, rather than the pi$$ed up mindless numpties I normally get?
Well said mate agree with all of that 100%

Deluded springs to mind, and no I didnt boo him as I dont boo our own players but Bothroyd is gash, no other word for him.

The only reason Bothroyd drifts out wide is because our midfield has no shape. If you look at all of MH's other teams he always plays wide men who try to beat their man an then whip a cross in. Mackie and SWP drift off into no mans land and our hardly ever out wide crossing a ball in.Estamos QPR

What do people expect?.....far better than what we are seeing. Our best four players mising? We are Premiership, and our reserves should be capable of beating a team two leagues below us. The players are not performing to the best of their ability and that's what we exepect.
If he could hit a cow's ar*e with a banjo and scored the glaring opportunities he gets rather than waste them, his confidence would return. He's a proffesional footballer ffs...and he's there to score goals, and he's not doing that.
Crowds respond to what they are watching. We lost against City and got a standing ovation. We made more noise against Chelsea than I've heard in that ground for years. Nobody boos a team that's playing well. The issue starts with the team and the preformance of the players. Fans quite rightly expect the players to at least try their best and play to the best of their ability with desire and passion. They don't do that, people start to get the hump, and are entitled to do so.
There was something wrong with Warnock. His tactical ineptness. Huff, puff, badge thumping will get you so far, especially in the lower leagues, but when you play in the best league in the world against astute managers that treat things more like a game of chess and have the ability to out smart or out think lesser managers then you need more than a "get amongst em" attitude. In my opinion, Warnock was found wanting in that department and as shocked as I was, in the cold light of day, it was probably the right decision. Time will tellFags n weed, glue n speed, but I draws the line at crack !

There are many people i disagree with on here and elsewhere in life, but just because their opinion differs from mine doesn,t mean they don't have common sense or that they have their knob firmly placed up my ars.e...Mind you, once you sit next to him and he wants a different pie from you at half time....because you think meat pies are sh.t...are you going to change seats again ?

We can all argue this players good, that players sh!te, this managers top drawer and better than this manager etc etc. It's all about opinions. Thats what forums are about to debate these issues with the club we all love. I'm not really making a case for or against any of our players i just want the booing to stop and lets be a 12th man and raise the team. They need us. What they don't need is some sections of our fans getting on their backs. You can plainly see the lack of confidence in them and were making it much worse by booing. All i want is our fans to get off their backs and get behind the team. Booing at the final whistle is ok in some respects as we all pay our money. But booing individuals makes the team more nervous and no-one wants the ball and when they do get it they panic and try to get rid straight away. Hence the lack of fluidity. The effort seems to be there in most parts we just need a few results to go our way a few lucky goals or a penalty or something to lift spirits. Confidence breeds confidence and we need it desperately.
Regarding your quotes about Warnock all i can say is we will never know if he was good enough or not for the premiership now. His hands were tied by the small limited squad we have and he wasn't given chance to build on it. I sincerely hope MH is the right guy but only time will tell. One thing is for sure chanting "you don't know what you're doing" in only his second game for the club is totally mindless. I was gutted to lose NW but will give all my support now to Hughes.
