Sorry mate but I was at the game and seeing Bothroyds lack of movement and urgency was frankly embarrasing !!

Macheda was more of a threat and linked up better than bothroyd did !!

He offers no threat to the opposing goal !!! He is supposed to be a striker (allegedly)

Before you ask I did not boo or #### off Bothroyd tonight I just found myself rolling my eyes in my head on a number of occasions !!

He's not that type of striker and never has been. Obviously no comparison in quality but he is best playing a similar role to Rooney-picking it up deep, getting the move going and then getting in the box. Having said that, I'd agree he doesn't do the last part (getting in the box) very well.

i despair at bothroyd he just doesnt look interested , buzz played ok , derry is now to slow he jockeys far to much as he knows he is slow to the tackle but thats not his fault its hughes for selecting him. with barton back we will have a bit more bite... desperatly need a centre mid and a striker with pace

Dazzer Thank Foook for someone talking some sense. Not only was he our best player tonight but also pretty close to it against the toon on sunday. I personally take my hat off to the guy because i'm ashamed to be an R with all the booing he's got. To be honest the guy must dread receiving the ball. His confidence must be shot to pieces with the *****ic response of some of our fans towards him.

Earlier in the season i watched a Blackburn game and the Blackburn fans booed everything Blackburn did. At that time i thought to myself what a bunch of *****s theyre draining the confidence out of their own team with all the booing. I also thought to myself i'm so glad we don't have that element of fans. Well how foooking wrong i was. Not only did this section of our fans help to get rid of Warnock theyve also helped to undermine the confidence of the whole team. It's plain to see every single player is sh!t scared to go near the ball. The couldron that we talked about creating at home on this forum has totally backfired cos of this booing element. Opposing teams can sense this now that were totally nervous and its giving them the upper hand. MK Dons thrived on the booing tonight and because of it got the upper hand.

Tonight we played MK Dons with our best 4 players missing. WTF do people expect????? The team needed us as a 12th man to make up for the obvious lack in quality in our line up but what did we get? Constant booing of Bothroyd yet he did absolutely nothing wrong all game. He had the bottle to show for the ball even though his confidence is shot. True he drifts out wide too much instead of being in the centre but at least he wants the ball. If everyone got off his back his confidence would come back. FFS he scored 20 odd goals last season and was called up for the England squad. Almost everyone on here was calling for us to sign him. Now everyone wants his head. What a fickle bunch. Not only Bothroyd i've now noticed the slagggging of Luke Young, Gabbidon, Mackie, Dezza, Kenney, Ferdinand in fact the whole fooking team. The fans are the 12th man simple as. Our fans at the moment are making us play with 10 men instead of 11. Why cos of the constant booing of players. Not only does it affect the player getting booed it affects the whole friggin team. Did anyone seriously think this was gonna be a walk in the park??? Yeah some deluded fans might think that way. This was always gonna be one hell of a fight to the bitter end. Get behind your team and give the players a lift not all this negative bull sh!t that affects players confidence. If we scrape a point on the last day of the season to survive then al be cracking one off to celebrate. I don't really care how its done as long as we survive. I knew that from the moment we came up but i fear all the booing is just giving the opposition the upper hand every time we play. I'm sick of hearing its Mackies fault, Its Bothroyds fault, it's warnocks fault its Taarabts fault. Get a reality check its not. Its our fault for not getting behind the team and bigging them up to believe theyre better than they are. Swell their egos and give them confidence. You bay for Warnocks blood and get it, then w@nk yourselves silly when its announced Hughes is coming in only for 2 games later to chant "you don't know what you're doing". How embarrassing. There was fook all wrong with NW. He was the best manager we've had here since Gerry Francis. His crime??? He simply didnt have the players to do what he wanted. In the transfer window he would have turned us around. And don't give me this sh!te he wasn't good enough cos no-one will ever know that now cos he was given the boot before he had the chance to get all his own players in. Mark Hughes is now finding how hard it was for NW. To all those who slated NW playing SWP on the left and drooled at what hughsie would do. Well what does your new god do??? If we'd have signed Alex "Red Nose ****" Ferguson, Martin O'Neill, Pep Guardiola or foooking God himself nothing will change while we have the majority of our team full of championship players. What the fk was the excuse for playing so crap tonight? Ok we won but it was awful.
And don't go giving me they're not PL class, we were playing a Div 1 team and we walked a better league than they play in last year.
