Popped in the Newcastle Labour Club on Saturday evening for a couple and was kindly invited to come back on the Sunday as they were opening at 10am and got to say the locals could not have been more welcoming

The Club was just by the ground and a pint was well under £2 and was so good we popped back in after the game for an hour or so

Great football banter in there and if you are are ever up there then give it a go for an hour or so

Good to see Ric Roc and some other retrobates in there as well

Has to be done on away days! Depending how bad the defeat is that then determines how badly I punish them.

Suffice to say Putney Pamela was in a bad way once I'd finished that day.

Says the man who wont go tonight in case his hands get cold And I suppose if you had even bothered going you would have stood 6 deep at a bar a couple of miles from the ground to spend £3.50 on a pint in a plastic glass?

On a Saturday night I'd have made sure I was in a place surrounded by nice looking women but then again I'm not an old drunk in need off a cheap pint. I've just done 7 x 12 hr night shifts on site, excuse me if I fancy putting my feet up this evening on my day off......next you' be telling me I ain't man enough to eat a gut buster breakfast every day or sink half a dozen pints before every match!!!!!

But you feel no shame in getting loyalty points you are not entitled to and which could stop a QPR fan seeing an away game this season

Just about sums you and your lot up

W12 might have been more impressed if you had been drinking in "The Engineer".
