Hadn't realised till watching MoTD2 that Jason Roberts couldn't play for them due to some contractual dispute (don't know what - maybe if he plays x number of games it triggers a new contract offer).

Anyway, with Yabu now suspended for three games and Blackburn unable to play Roberts and apparently v keen on Andy Johnson surely they will have to sell Samba to raise the money? Otherwise they must be wondering where the goals will come from over the next three games (not that they looked too shabby without Yakubu yesterday ). And if that allows them to "snatch Andy Johnson from under our noses", well, so much the better...

I don't think they can buy anybody at the moment. If they sell anybody, the money is going to either the taxman or Barclays.

Spot on...he told a fan on 606 that he and Salgado i think it was, were both in that position, so are not being selected
