  • The QPR Board

Ok so you have sacked NW and made various claims about new blood.

So,it is now time to put up or shut up.....no more shabby bids,we need quality
players now not next week.I know January is a hard time to attract
players apparently, but if we dont what was the point in sacking
    NW.

We need to act quickly, not this cautiously optimistic crap being put out
    by Phil Beard.
If we dont get quality players we will go down,Mark Hughes or not,we
may just as well backed NW as we will back in the championship and his
    record there speaks for itself.

Mark Hughes will improve our players in training , no doubt about that.. Not saying he'll turn them into world class players, but he will improve them.

I think the board know what they are doing, they have already invested vast amounts. It's easy for us fans to shout things out but reality is somewhat different.

If you read some of the threads that people have posted explaines how hard it is to attract players when you are at the wrong end of the table, plus it takes time for each transfer to go through. We could end up bidding 3 to 4 million more but it don't mean that player will want to come to QPR.

I trust the board and they will do what ever they can to make sure that we stay up, they have more to lose at the end of the day.

At least we know that our current board do not want to go down and Mark Hughes wouldn't have signed if he thought this would be the case.

We are all upset after todays results but lets all keep the faith and back the board until the end of the season, it's not over till it's over.

Do you really think Fernades wants to delay signings. you can bet the whole club is working to try and get the right players in as quick as humanly possible

are some people so dense to take everything said publicly at face value? really?

To be honest i would have preferred to take my chances with NW because
if we had survived with him, review the situation at the end the season.

If we went down what better man to get us back up,although to read some
of the posts on here some supporters have very short memories.

We have come from buckets to the Prem,in the cold light of day does it
really matter if we get relegated, its not the end of the world.

What really matters is the club at present is in the best financial state
that it has been in for years.

I would just like to know if TF is going to walk the walk, and i guess we
will find out in due course.

Can people start being f*cking honest....

we had less than 0% chance of staying up with NW... though I love the bloke, we were shoite and only getting worse.... he seemed to be waiting for the transfer window promising that our signings would keep us up.... what about our f*cking cruddy, defensive tactics that were getting us no where?

What about the embarrassing post match interviews that made it sound like we were happy for a thumping just to be playing in what ever sh1thole we happened to be that week.

Im sorry I physically cringed during the post arsenal interview when he called RVP a cheat, he lost me, I had no idea what the f*ck he was doing, and to be honest I dont think he did either...

Will love the bloke forever but lets move one.

GTLEIGH as i said we could review and take any action that may be
needed in the summer break, which is known to be far easier than Jan.

Sanderson - any chance you cd come round and have a look at my house? By the sound of it I can ask pretty well whatever I like and you'll be happy to chuck me the cash and have the whole thing sown up by tea-time without even bothering to take out a survey. At least that's how casual you want to be with other peoples money so I can only assume you are the same with your own...

Its is not a case of being casual with other peoples money,i just care
deeply about this club first game White City 1962.I know where your coming
from but if we dont stay up and that means spending real money,we may just
                        as well stayed with NW.

Talk is cheap, action is what counts

I think the board know that but if you have ever negotiated for anything in business/ for a house/ for a car you know its not as simple as just walking in and saying "I'll have that one there and the one over there please" - particularly when none of our targets bar Alex are, as far as we know, actually for sale.

You have already seen The Venkys coming out with ridiculous quotes saying they want £18m for Samba when in the judgement of several top clubs he isn't as good as Cahill who went for £8m. What wd you do - hand over the lot? I'm not having a go and want these players as much as you do but I don't think some fans begin to appreciate just how hard it is to get players in. Get Samba for less and maybe we cd also get Santa Cruz or whoever.

With the greatest respect I wd prefer our chief exec to be conducting these negotiations than our fans because I sure as hell wouldn't back many of them in a poker tournament...

cahill only went for 8m because he is out of contract in the summer.
