  • If we dont sign Jordan Rhodes

It would be a massive missed opportunity. Need a hot goal scorer , play him in at the moment and he will bury it

i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

no doubt he is a good player, but lets get some premier league experience in for the big scrap, stay up, and have a look in the summer.

Even if we signed him now, I doubt any manager in the premier league would throw him straight in.... just would not happen.
Same with Henrique, I really hope we get him, but if he is our saving grace we are going to struggle.... player like these need time to adapt... hope Im wrong...

If he carries on scoring like he is, it won't be us getting him in the summer! Now or never I think.

Should sign him on the basis that if we get relegated he can fire the goals to get us back up

This kid is not the answer. Everyone going on about how many goals he;s scored ask yourselves how many world class defenders has he faced in league 1???

He's not even done it at Championship level yet and people are suggesting he can be a saviour in the prem.

Yes he may prove to be a star, but far too much of a risk to take, especially given the inflated fee being suggested. Blimey haven't they turned down £4m from West Ham? If so they must want at least £5m, for a league 1 striker, that's £1.5m more than Danny Graham went to Swansea for after securing the Championhip golden boot, and many thought he was overpriced at the time.

But how Pilkington was successful with Norwich?

Always an exception. On the whole, its way too vast a jump in quality to be gambling our PL survival on IMO. If we were currently in Swansea or Norwich's league position I would be all for signing him but coming to us under such pressure to get goals would, again IMO, be too much for the lad.

There's nowhere near as much focus, pressure and expectation on a wide man as there is on a striker who would need to score. Do they get slated if they go a few games without an assist or does it go unoticed....? Now ask the same thing about a striker who hasn't scored for a few games.

TOTALLY not the type of player you want to bank on coming in to keep you up. Would cost silly money this time of the season and there is no guarantee's he could do the business at this level. Also I very much doubt Huddersfield will let him go in this window. At the end of the season yeah maybe but right now when we are going to be fighting for our lives to stay in the Premiership, NOT ON YOUR NELLY!

                              i said

i said we should have bought cooper and grayham and shane long, they are all class strikers with the rare ability to be ale to strike a beautifull shot did you see the winner that grayham got against arsenal ,imagine if that chance had fallen to botheroyde with his size 14 shoes he would have ballooned it over the bar

a good friend of mine is a scout for chelsea who are having him watched and he has assured me that the boy wonder is a better striker of the ball than grayham long and cooper,SO NO HE ISNT A GAMBLE BUT WILL WE PAY TEN MILLION FOR A STRIKER I THINK WE SHOULD IF NOT THE BOY WONDER LETS BUY DEFFOE
