The difference between us and Swansea and Norwich is that their managers had the whole of the summer to buy players with clarity of what their transfer budget was. What you see with Swansea and Norwich is squads that have been properly put together.
Our squad is distinctly Championship with whatever Premiership players we could get our hands on at short notice before the window shut. Look at today, Faurlin and Barton out, no cover and as a result we were run ragged in the midfield.
nail truley hit on head mate! we have been hamstrung all season and will do really well to stay up now! thanks flavio and bernie you did have the last laugh you ****ers!
LONDON CALLING TO THE ZOMBIES OF DEATH.... ALSO KNOW AS BRENTFORD FANS
1) Stay up (even if it is by only one point).
2) Get new players in the summer. If we can get players now that would be good but no point in buying players just for the sake of it.
3) Get a new training ground etc.
4) Get a new stadium
I'm not sure why we continue discussing Swansea and Norwich. They are small clubs and will probably stay as relatively small clubs. I read that Norwich is not willing to spend money and this could eventually cause problems.
whoever are saying our players are Championship players I say what about Barton, Ferdinand, SWP, Young and Traore? And why Swansea and Norwich who in fact most of their players are Championship players, have been better than us? Is it NW? Is it tactics? Is it confidence? Is it carelessness? Is it luck? What is it then?
unfortunately mate losing becomes a habit, so confidence will be at a all time low. Also we have no pace at all in the squad, Traore being the exception.
No one seems to know what they are doing, or what anyone else should be doing. There's no team plan, and within that no player plan. If Hughes can do anything he'll sort that out
