We have Alberti, who I feel is a better all round player and shows more promise.

So, any player that West Ham let go should go stright onto job-seekers then eh dazza ?
A certain Kevin Keegan was rejected when he was young I seem to remember, I wonder what happened to him, anyone know ?

Hogan has no chance of playing for England and the most he will be sold for is £1.5M, as he is an average championship player who's place in the team has just been taking by Taarabt.

Paul agree. Yet again you are correct!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

            I'll say this again...

We paid almost £200k for him to West Ham. If he doesn't to Swansea, then all I ask is during his next game for the R’s please analyse his game properly. Look at his passing (which is normally poorer than Leigertwoods!); look at his movement off the ball and his ability to make space for himself (its non-existent 95% of the time). He can't tackle and as I have said he’s far too lightweight. He rarely gets assists or scores and isn't nowhere near as creative as others in our squad so what do people really see in him. If he was that great West Ham would never have let him go. I'm no fan of theirs BUT they are a Club who have created some of this countries greatest players (Hammer is cracking one out now as he's reading this I can sense!!!), so why would they let him go for pittance if he was that great!

Cookie is not the player he was but Hogan would never get in front of him in my eyes and I have Cook at 4th choice at the minute ahead of Hogan (Adel, Routledge, Balanta, Cook, Hogan in case you are wondering in terms or wide players)!

RangersRoar - He's 5th choice now to play out wide on either wing and he about the same if he was to be played in central midfield. Be honest about it. If you had the choice to play him would he get in your team ahead of Buzz, Vine, Rowlands, Agyemang, Cook, Routledge, Balanta, Adel, Leigertwood, Mahon or Faurlin. Be serious fella. He'd only get in ahead of Alberti!

Thats your opinion, maybe Jim rates him more highly than you.

His biggest plus point is that he can play anywhere in the midfield and do a decent job which is why it might be worth keeping hold of him for when we do pick up injuries and suspensions!

Buz... only a year left on his contract, so we could lose him
Rowlands ... wrong end of his career, and not the player he was
Cook... seems not the same after his injury, and still injured
Routledge... is a bit one dimensional and not impressed after a good start
Balanta.... is no better than Hogan, with less experience
Adel.... unfortunately only here for a year
Mahon... at the end of his QPR career after this season I suspect.

So that narrows it down a little. Anyway what's the rush to sell him ?

Morris it's not an opinion, it's realistic. C'mon fella to you put him ahead of that list I provided?

I see him behind Cook and Taraabt for LW, and Routledge and Taarabt for RW.

He can also play down the middle, hes a good player to have.

As has been said him and Taraabt looked good together.

Hogan is also lightweight like some have already mentioned. I feel the reason some think that his movement was poor last season was due to the fact sousa had him playing CM. This restricted him as I don't think he understood when to go and when to stay. He is an attacking midfielder left, right or centre and has good crossing ability. I would have him in the squad ahead of Alberti, Balanta and Agyegmang currently. However, hoping Balanta comes into his own this season.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

I don't mean it like that. I'm asking for your list. Not saying I am right or wrong.

Do you put Hogan ahead of the following if he was to play out wide (left or right side):
                              Adel - no
                              Rowlands - no
                              Routledge - no
                              Cook - no
                              Balanta - no
                              Agyemang - no
                              Faurlin - no
                              Buzz - no
                              Vine - no
                              Alberti - YES

Do you put Hogan ahead of the following if he was to play a Central Role:
                              Rowlands - no
                              Balanta - no
                              Agyemang - no
                              Faurlin - no
                              Buzz - no
                              Vine - no
                              Leigertwood - no
Mahon - no (not in a defencive midfield role)
                              Alberti - YES

                              That's my point!
