All depends on who we manage to buy - and how quickly. Samba, Alex, Bridge, a couple in midfielders and a clinical, experienced striker and we wd go from being prob the weakest team in the division (minus Adel, Armand, Alejandro and Barton) to be better than half a dozen teams.

Agree with that. Think Curle and co have a lot to answer for. And indirectly Warnock. Even with a low budget there are plenty of unemployed ex-players out there who he cd have brought in to work on technique and marking formations etc. You get the impression that we didn't really have a strategy before - it was just "up and at them lads" which worked in the championship when we had great team spirit, but even that spirit evaporated when a few big time charlies arrived without even adding much extra quality.

We're definitely deep in the relegation dog fight mate but it's not lost yet. I don't think you can go to Newcastle with Buz and Derry as your midfield pairing and expect to get anything. I honestly think if we'd had Faurlin and Barton available today we would have won that.

Also, I was just having a look at the fixtures and there are loads of winnable games coming up. It has to start against Wigan next week though!
