Midfield has to be a priority!

We've had plenty of chances. We need a finisher just as badly as anything else. From CB, to CM to forwards...it's all priority if we're gonna remain in hhis league.

But what about the forwards, apart from Helga the rest look poor, very poor.

Lets face we need at east 1 other CB to play with Anton (prefer 2 incase of injury), we need another winger / LB as we missed Taore very much, we need 1 CM to play with Barton as Ali F is out and 2 pacey decent strikers.

I dont think i can priorities any of thoses postions above others a it quit clear we need help in all of them and there all as important.

My thoughts...

I thought for large parts of that game we were the better team. One thing, though, is glaringly obvious. We badly, badly need a couple of decent strikers. 13 shots, 6 on target and no goals yet again. Newcastle had 1 shot on target the entire game and scored it. In my mind Newcastle were there for the taking and we didn't win the game because of poor finishing.
I think its also obvious the Derry just isn't good enough for the prem, and with faurlin out for the season, we need a couple of centre mids in.
I'm hoping for a few signings before the end of the window, we badly need to strengthen.

Doesn't matter how good our midfield is if they're only going to pass to Bothroyd and see their hard work end end up in Row Z.
