  • Twitter Tony

Watching Sunday supplement and they touched on the whole twitter culture at QPR. The 3 hacks saying Tony should not Twitter so much as its not very profesional you dont get Arsenals or Man U's directors on Twitter and Facebook blah blah!

Is twitter detremental to life at QPR thoughts
All those that believe in telekinesis raise my hand

Not when its 99% positive no. I think its refreshing an owner so in touch with his clubs fans. The hacks are probably p!ssed off that he tweets fans direct & in real time rather than him giving them quotes exclusively.

Barton on the other hand needs to keep his a lot more upbeat & less of the rowing with donuts on there. That is unprofessional & not needed.

Easy comments to make by people who underestimate the power of social networking when used effectively. It carries its risks - but the benefits outweigh them for skilled practitioners.

I think actually Tony is ahead of the curve. Other directors, chairman may not post much today...but watch this space...

F**k me we really are the darlings of the press.......not.
Just seen a clip of the sunday supplement on ssn and we seem to be roundly hated!
Criticising Tony, for being on twitter, and for saying we have unlimited funds(don't remember him saying that).
One of them then suggested we will be and i quote "the dustbin" club for everyone to get rid of their rubbish players to, why do they think we will only buy unwanted players.
Also questioning how much MH will have to spend, and basically inferring that the board have lied to MH and he'll have to wheel and deal more than he realises, if that is the case then Hughes wouldn't have taken the job imo and the board have been very foolish lying to him, which again i don't think they would.
            Bunch of ****s!!!

As mentioned above tweeter and the new social media services means the paper and journo neede to find quicker and better ways of commucating as there industry is changing. comments like that are from people not willing to embrace change because they uderstand some of their indusrty is now coming under threat.

Something tell me TF wont givve a crying hoot what they say, as using these media services are one of the reasons why he has been successful in what he does.
One for all.... and all for one

Rats that have made a 'career' from lying & fabricating stories on many counts.

They're opinion means f*ck all to me. What TF, Amit & Phillip Beard have planned for us is all that counts.

Its understood that Newspapers will be finished within ten to fifteen years. Social Networking, forums, and community websites are killing them off. All the red tops standard of journalism is cracking in the face of falling sales.
The reader and consumers need evidence and information, Fernandes is entirely correct to Twitter and communicate directly to the Clubs fans....Paul Smith in the Mirror today, to be found on @Smudge1962, is very quiet on twitter today because nobody at QPR will talk to him. He has no story to tell about QPR this week....whats he do? Makes it up! Fallen into the trap and we can now all listen to voices we can trust: Phil Beard and Fernandes and his pressman Ian Gibson....

Yeah agree mate they seem to take a stance on a club and then just spout **** or in the case of the 2 that came up with us a major love fest.
I think the sun story last season by sumbag Custis shows what they're all about

Newspapers will be extinct soon , in a society which demands instant news , no one waits for the following day to get news , we have our phones that allow us to ficus on what it is we need and want as our news source
Left with us receiving the facts when we want they have to have stories noone seen hence reverting to ********e

                        Sooner there gone rhe better

(obv this reverts to redtops. Think the quality papers with good journos still report on things that peole who want real news will read)
