Football is barking mad with regards transfer fees. No guarantee of success & having seen Burnley go up they obviously think we can do the same on same budget.
Although I am opposed to Helguson getting number 9 I quite understand not paying 3 million for someone like Ched Evans who lets face it is unproven.

Your right, imo we have a good squad. I think were capable of a play off place for sure. One thing missing for me is a LB but we still have time if Jim decides he wants to get someone in.

I was suprised when HH got the number 9 shirt, but he has a full pre season under his belt and not so long ago was playing in the prem, so should he stay fully fit i think he could chip in with a decent number of goals this season.

I dont see the big deal about Ched Evans, as you say he is basically unproven, ok he did alright at Norwich but he didnt blow the league away by any means!
