Decent player but has not even featured as a starter for Sao Paulo so I am not sure what to make of this one.......cant see how he will have an immeadiate impact. He scored a lot of goals at the U20 tournament but he had Neymar and Lucas setting him up.............we have who?? Should go after Lucas who is quality or Alex from Corinthians who is the kind of midfielder we are dying for.
Bernardo is a better forward from Vasco. What about Fred from Fluminense?? Come on Hughesy, lots of good players here that we can get a good deal on.........

Yes I have been saying let's not waste time on getting a player from a PL club as they all seem reluctant to sell and let's go aborad. I know it is a gamble, but what else we can do?

Who and where precisely because the club does not have the luxury of time due to work permits. Most non-EU players will be automatically ruled out.

Not right for us at this moment in time IMO. I just don't get it? Would be a gamble and from what I've seen and heard wouldn't be a regular starter so what's the point?

Agree, the Vids could have been of a testimonial game such was the defensive marking non-existent and tackling seems to be not allowed in Brazilian youth games.

Then we have a problem in developing young players and make them stars. The club needs to invest in this for future.

Explain, the rule is designed for national FA's to force clubs to develop home talent as opposed to displacing them in squads. Clubs have been buying experienced players and not investing in youth as they a) don't have the luxury of time) b) see them get stolen by bigger clubs (Stirling being R's last example) c) Prefer to conserve cash and d) The track record of YA players coming through into clubs that spotted/developed them is very low. They all hope they find a Messi but few do and that is why Bacca's youth set is like a large Spanish footballing hoover

I hope so. Parejo is a class player, when he was at us he was almost too good for us, nobody could read the passes he could see or wanted to make.
