  • Samba not for sale

So KEAN again today stated that Samba is NOT for sale and they have declined ONE offer from ONE club last week. Samba was ill friday and was therefore not in the team today...........but the question is if Kean is b00lshittin, the owners are acting behind his back or he is actually telling the truth that Samba is NOT for sale.........in that case please do not waste more time on him and move to other targets plz

    Link to Kean interview:
Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean says his unsettled defender Chris Samba will have hospital tests after missing the win over Fulham through illness.

Apparantly we bid £6.5m and it was turned down even though Samba wanted to come here.

Rovers' Indian owners, Venky's, who now appear ready to consider a bid of the right order for the club, are believed to want around £18m for Samba, who is their prime playing asset.

Well 18m is ridicilous by our standards - cant see us ever signing a player for that much unless it is in my wildest dreams

Venky's need the cash as Blackburn owe the taxman a big lump supposedly.

          Talking around the £10m mark.

          But rumours are rumours.

Is it true that Venky's just thought that they'd bought a cash cow, and didn't realise teams could be relegated from the Prem?

I thought Indian's were supposed to be shrewd buisness people?.

£18 mill? He's not Messi! (even though that £18mill is well off his actual value but you get the point)

He won't go for more than £10m imo. Regardles of what they want for him, they won't get it. He's said he doesn;t want to be there and has gone on strike.... sorry is missing games due to illness.... so they will end up taking whatever they can get for him.

I fear that as soon as we have an offer accepted f0ckin Redknapp will match the bid and nick him off us with promises of Champions League footy.
Im beginning to get fed up with Redknapp. He's always talking about other teams players (Ba, Samba etc) yet critises other clubs when they do the same about his players.

You never accept 1st bids when selling your house do you and it hardly ever goes for the price you ask (usually above the value). When Samba leaves Blackburn there will be an agreed figure somewhere in between, good chance is we will still get him but think he will go for around 9 mil.

Samba will be sold, no point keeping an unhappy player, spuds and psg to push up the price but £10m top wack. First test for MH, lets see what he can attract to the r's
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
